He is the "Princely type," who entertains girls with an upper class etiquette and shameless flattery. He is partial to classic piano music and plays exceedingly well. Masanori is also very classy as well and treats girls with the upright respect. Masanori is very easy going and prefers having fun then going on boring missions are doing paperwork for being the guildmaster. Masanori is the type of guy who can never hold his liquor and can get drunk off 1 shot therefore Sakura is always putting him in his place. Masanori is the type of person who will defend his friends especially if they are from fairy tail.

* Japanese Food: Masanori has always loved Japanese food ever since he was little, Gyoza is one of his favorite Appetizers

* Flirting with girls: Although he may not look it Masanori has a strong interest with women especially Sakura

Motivations:
Masanori's motivation is to become the strongest mage and protect Sakura from any danger the world may impose from her. His friends are the main source that makes him do the things he does and teamwork is another factor that motivates him. Another big motivation that Masanori has is that he wants to crush all the dark guilds in Fiore. The last motivation of Masanori's is to make fairy tail the strongest guild in Fiore.

* Spiders: Masanori has always hated spiders because of their appearance and how crawly they are. He also doesn't like bugs very much in general

* Math: Masanori has always sucked at math especially when doing paperwork

* Acknologia: Acknologia is the most feared dragon in fiore and Masanori has heard terrifying tales of this ferocious dragon

General Appearance:
Masanori has long blond hair that extends to the back of his neck and he is usually seen wearing a white undershirt with a blue jacket. Masanori usually wears black pants or jeans for pants usually depending on what his mood is. Masanori also can be seen wearing classy attire as well such as a suit and tie or his really nice looking vest, as for Masanori's body type would be considered athletic and skinny. Another feature that Masanori has is that one of his eyes are blue and the other is green he used to have 2 green eyes but Masanori has always wanted blue eyes ever since he was little so he decided to change one of his eye colors to blue using magic. Masanori also wears a necklace in the shape of a lightning bolt that was given to him by his father the 4th master of Fairy Tail. Masanori also wears black shoes that has a yellow pinstripe on them and they are a special type of shoes for riding lighting bolts on made especially for him. Sometimes Masanori will be seen wearing a white overcoat with the japanese kanji for master printed on the back as his signature battle attire. He also carries a small pouch on his side for putting miscellaneous things like town maps and food items in for when he goes on missions.

Magic: Lightning Magic

Description: Lightning Magic is a branch of Elemental Magic that utilizes
electricity, but more specifically, lightning, as a form of offense and
defense. Mages who possess the ability to utilize such Magic are able to
generate these elements from their bodies, and manipulate them.
However, unlike other types of Elemental Magic, users of lightning magic are also capable of utilizing lightning from a distance
Strengths: Lightning magic allows the user to transform their body into the element they control:
by transforming into a lightning bolt, the user is able to avoid
physical attacks, and have the added advantage of traveling around at
very high speeds and damaging everyone or everything they come in
contact with, much like real lightning.

Weaknesses: Although lightning magic is powerful it has quite a few disadvantages as well. first off lightning magic is weak against earth magic, also another weakness of lightning is that it it takes about 5 minutes for new lightning to form.


History:
Ever since he was little Masanori's dream was to be the guild master of fairy tail ever since he was in the guild when his father became the 4th master of fairy tail. Masanori always used to train with his father and his father was the one who taught him everything he needed to know about lightning magic. Eventually Masanori kept practicing and practicing until he got really good at it and eventually surpassed his father. One day Masanori was out training and received word that his father never came home one day Masanori went looking for his father high and low. After getting word of his fathers whereabouts from a local mage he found out that his father had been taken by a rogue mage. After searching endlessly he finally found the rogue mage that had kidnapped his father. As he came upon the mage he saw that his father was dead and thrown on the floor beside the mage. After crying a lot he tried taking on the mage himself but the mage was too powerful for him and eventually he lost to him. The mage then disappeared in the night and was never to be found again. after the news of his fathers death at the age of 19 Masanori was next in line for the position of fairy tails guild master and soon became the new guild master. At first no one was fond of Masanori being the guild master with his laid back and lazy attitude not to mention he was young and didn't have much experience either but eventually after just one year Masanori started getting more respect from the guild members. To this day Masanori is still looking for the rouge mage that killed his father and he will never stop until he finally avenges him. Masanori then one day stumbled upon the guild master of mermaid heel and fell in love with her although she never seems to notice him much.

After coming back from the guild masters meeting, Masanori walks into fairy tail with his head held high and announces "Hey everyone im homeeeeeee" After being greeted by his fellow guild members Masanori walks upstairs to his office and sees the gigantic amount of paperwork that he has to do. "Awww man this is so lame why do i have to do all this paperwork? Maybe I should hire someone to do this for me yet again my father told me that being a guild master was hard work." Masanori thought to himself.
